Refund policy

If you are not sure what size hanger to order or have any questions, please contact us before placing your order, we would be happy to assist you. 612-710-4794 or email us using the form under Contact Us at the bottom of our website pages.
30 day return on stained and natural finished standard-size hangers only. Call or email us for your return authorization number and Return Instructions. These detailed Return Instructions are to help make sure your hanger isn't damaged in the return shipment. No returns accepted without return authorization number and prior approval.
Our hangers are inspected and carefully packaged for shipping. Returned hangers must be received in original unused condition in the original packaging. It is the customer's responsibility to properly package and insure delivery. Art In A Pinch reserves the right to reject damaged returns or to charge customers for refinishing damaged items due to improperly packaged returns.
Once we get your hanger back we will credit your credit card for the hanger price only. There is no credit given for any shipping charges incurred by us.
20% restocking fee on all returns or refused orders. Restocking fee based on the total purchase price of item being returned.
The following hangers are not returnable: black, white, unfinished, and all custom order hangers including all Modern Style Hangers. Black and white are considered special finishes; unfinished and custom hangers are made to order. Gift cards, accessories(such as long knobs, muslin, anchors), clearance items are not returnable. Items returned without an authorization number.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Please do not send your purchase back to us without receiving a return authorization number (see above).
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable):
Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error. Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery.
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable):
If you have not received a notice from us that we have processed your refund or if you have any questions, please feel free to contact us. Check your bank account again.
If contacting your credit card company, note that they may take some time before your refund is officially posted to your account. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us.
Exchanges (if applicable):
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email using the form under Contact Us or call us at 612-710-4794.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
Gifts:
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.
Shipping:
Follow all the guidelines laid out in the email we send you that states Return Instructions.
All preauthorized returns (see above for more information) should be mailed to the address we provide you in your Return Instructions only.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
If you are shipping an item pack to us, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Shipping outside of the USA:

We do not ship directly to a non-USA address. If you decide to order and use a ship forward company to a non-USA address, these  additional terms apply. There are no returns once an item ships out of the USA nor is an item refundable if damaged once it leaves the USA. We are not responsible for any item not arriving to a non-USA address. Once an item is delivered to a USA address there is a 30 day window to review the item while it is still in the USA. If an item is received damaged during that 30 day window in the USA only, you may contact us for an exchange. To place large orders, please contact us for prior approval.
